International Students from all Countries are eligible for University of Regina International Entrance Scholarships.
Secondary and Transfer Students are Qualify to Apply
Applicants Must be Apply for Study Permit and also Have admission average of 85% or higher for Bachelor Degree, admission average of 80% for PhD Programs and admission average of 75% for Masters.
Candidates Must maintain a minimum of 9 credit hours per term up to and including the last day of classes
Proof of English Language Proficiency is Required (IELTS/TOEFL/PTE/Duolingo)
For the Faculty of Nursing, post-secondary studies from a country that is not on the English Exempt Country List must have been completed within two (2) years of application to the Faculty

INTERNATIONAL ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIP: All international students applying to an undergraduate degree program will be automatically considered for this award. Students receive their choice of either $3,000 in tuition credit or eight months of campus housing.

UR CIRCLE OF SCHOLAR: 4 awards for international degree-seeking students with the highest admission averages from identified regions around the world. Students entering in the Fall semester will be automatically considered for this award. $5,000 awarded in the first year, renewable each year if criteria is met. Students will also receive on campus housing as long as they continue to meet the criteria.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT OF DISTINCTION SCHOLARSHIP: TIER 1

$80,000 ($20,000 x 4 years) Approximate Value

All international students applying to an undergraduate degree program directly from high school will be automatically considered.
International students selected for Tier 1 will be awarded free on-campus housing and a meal plan.
Students must have a minimum early conditional or overall final high school average of 90% (converted to Canadian grading scale).
This award is renewable each year of a student’s degree program as long as students continue to complete 30 credit hours per calendar year and maintain a minimum UGPA of 75% in their first year and 80% in their subsequent years.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT OF DISTINCTION SCHOLARSHIP: TIER 2

$40,000 ($20,000 x 4 years) Approximate Value

All international students applying to an undergraduate degree program directly from high school will be automatically considered.
International students selected for Tier 2 will be awarded free on-campus housing and a meal plan.
