Eligibility Requirements for Commonwealth Scholarship for International Students in UK 2023

The Following are the Eligibility Criteria for commonwealth scholarship 2022/2023 for Postgraduate Studies in the United Kingdom;

  • Be a citizen of or have been granted refugee status by an eligible Commonwealth country, or be a British Protected Person
  • Be permanently resident in an eligible Commonwealth country
  • Applicants must be Available to Start their program of Studies in September 2023
  • Applicants Eligible to Apply must either Hold upper second class (2:1) honours standard, or a second class degree (2:2) and a relevant postgraduate qualification.
  • Candidate Must not have Applied for PhD, or an MPhil leading to a PhD in any UK University or Home Country Tertiary Institution.
  • Incase of not Scholarship awarded, Applicants Should be Self-funded to Study in UK.

How to Apply Commonwealth Scholarship in UK Universities
  • Applications for Commonwealth Scholarship for International Students in UK 2023 should be directed to the  CSC’s online application system HERE. Candidates must apply to one of the nominating agencies as well as to the CSC.
  • Nominating agencies will then put forward candidates to the CSC. The CSC does not accept direct applications for these scholarships.
