Scholarship Coverage | University of New Haven

Undergraduate scholarships

  • Presidential Scholarship: A student who has achieved academic success in high school is considered for this scholarship. The Presidential Scholarship varies depending on the students high school performance. Awards range from $21,000 – $26,000 per academic year.
  • Distinguished Scholar Awards: Students who have achieved academic success in high school but may not meet the requirements for the First-Year Presidential Scholarship are considered for this award. The award ranges from $15,000 – $20,000.
  • Charger Award: This award is presented to students who exhibit strong and consistent academic performance, but may not qualify for one of the other academic awards (Presidential and Distinguished Scholarships).

Graduate Scholarships

Provost’s Assistantship:

  • An experiential learning and work opportunity for the entirety of their graduate program.
  • 75% tuition assistance
  • An hourly wage

Dean’s Scholarship Program: Full-time domestic and international master’s students are selected for a Dean’s Scholarship after a careful review of a new candidate’s application material on the basis of academic merit. The program provides up to 50% tuition assistance during their enrollment at the University of New Haven.
