This is an avenue to take advantage of these Scholarships as specific or participating community are now eligible as Golden LEAF through it’s resources has help communities economic to grow strategically both in human training and scholarships. For state colleges and universities under north Carolina, Golden LEAF through its effective means has help over 21,900 students in rural communities to attend schools.

To participate in Golden LEAF Scholarship, Counties in North Carolina are now qualified but must ensure need for financial Support from participating applicants for any of it’s private or public institutions in north Carolina. The essence is to ensure students acquired talents, skills and knowledge to help their immediate environment survives.

Note that the Participating Colleges varies as students or applicants are advice to check the office of financial aid in their college to ensure it is one among the qualified colleges that is participating. For curriculum students, Up to the sum of $2,250 are awarded while $1000 for occupational education students, there are some requirements for Golden LEAF Scholarship if you are enrolling for the 2-year Program for community programs and these are as follows;

• 2-year Program for Golden LEAF Scholarship
• Ensure you download the Application form for 2021 and fill appropriate gaps as required.
• Submit the Application form to your college financial aid office

Eligibility Requirements for 4-Year Program

High school seniors who reside in North Carolina or College community transfer high school seniors who are planning to enroll for a 4-year full-time Program in any private and public Colleges or Universities must ensure the following are the guidelines for application;

• Applicants must show the need for financial assistance as defined by Federal student Aid FAFSA
• Not less than 3.0 grade in High school.
• Following Graduation, Applicants must show desire to return back to communities for Public service in North Carolina.
• Must Ensure they are in any of the qualified rural communities in north Carolina.

Value

High school seniors who are qualified and enrolled for 4-year Golden LEAF Scholarship are entitled to $12,000 ($3000 for up to 4 years)

College transfer students Amounts to $3000 for up to 3 years.
