Eligibility Requirements for University of Waikato PhD Scholarships New Zealand 2024
- Applications are Open to New Zealand citizens, permanent residents, and
international students. - Scholarship is for candidates enrolling in a doctoral qualification, i.e. a Doctor of
Philosophy (PhD), Doctor of Health Science (DHSc), Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA),
Doctor of Education (EdD), or Doctor of Juridical Science (SJD), at the University of
Waikato. - Applicants must be Participating in a Full-time Doctoral Degree Program at the University of Waikato.
- Applicants who have Started a PhD Program from the University or other institutions within and outside New Zealand are not eligible to apply.
- Part-time Applicants Can also Apply for the New Zealand PhD Scholarship only on the basis of illness, disability, parent or career responsibilities and should email their Compelling reasons with evidence to [email protected]
- Candidates will not be granted permission to hold a University of Waikato
Doctoral Scholarship on a part-time basis if they wish to undertake full-time
paid employment or substantial part-time employment. - University Staff are not Eligible to Apply for university of Waikato PhD Scholarship except in Exceptional Cases.
