About KMU in Taiwan
The Tertiary institution is located in Sanmin District, Kaohsiung and was established in 1954. The University was the first private medical educational institution in Taiwan. - All Foreign Students are Eligible for National Tsing Hua University Scholarship except Taiwanese Students.
- Foreign nationality who has never held Republic of China (“R.O.C.”) nationality and who
meets the following requirements is permitted to apply for admission to an educational institution - Candidate Must have Completed Bachelor Programs to Apply for Master’s Degree programs at the University

Benefits of Kaohsiung Medical University Scholarship
The following are the benefits of Kaohsiung Medical University Scholarship for international students to study in Taiwan;
① Type A: NTD 200,000~260,000 per year (monthly stipend, accommodation coverage and tuition fee are included)
② Type B: NTD 80,000~140,000 per year (accommodation coverage and tuition fee are included)
③ Type C: NTD 70,000~80,000 per year (tuition fee) Undergraduate students can only apply for Type C, , Master’s students can apply for Type B and Type C, Ph.D. students can apply for all types of the scholarship.

How to Apply
Interested Candidates for Fully Funded Kaohsiung Medical University Scholarship in Taiwan 2024-25 are to follow the procedures below;
- Visit Application Website, choose [Master/Ph.D.], the degree program you wish to apply. Register for personal account.
- Applicants may apply for up to 3 programs. Application without online registration will not be accepted.
- Read carefully the Declaration and agree the terms of application. Please be informed that if any required fields on the application form is blank, it will not be saved successfully.
- Upload all required files and submit application fee (applicants of School of Post-Baccalaureate Medicine only). After completing the on-line application, application documents must be uploaded before the application deadline date.
- After filling out the application forms, print it out and sign then upload the scanned copy of the form.
- Set up at least 2 respective referrers for each program applied.
- Click the button “Submit Application” to complete the application.
